I had a great experience at the Madison Reed Color Bar. The booking online was easy and the reminder system was well developed at this place. Upon booking, I received the confirmation email and the staff also called me a day before the appointment for reminder. It was very helpful. This place opened up at Shops of Legacy a few weeks ago! I walked in hoping to get a balayage but I was told they don't offer this service till October! Still, I was happy to experience and see what the colorist would advice! I walked in and was greeted very kindly and was seated and offered drinks. My consultation was okay. The lady didn't quite know what she was doing at first and I asked for the lightest color or one she would think would look good on me but it took her 30 mins to finally decide with the color that I said first. The color turned out okay. I think it just evened out my hair color and not look so faded. They were limited on colors during the soft opening. One of the stylist was very nice. I made an appointment online which was a smooth experience. Got a call a few days before and text reminders for my appointment. When I arrived, I was greeted by the nice receptionist and offered a tea while I waited. I had to wait about 20 minutes since my hair colorist was behind because of a previous appointment. I absolutely loved my time at Madison Reed. However, they have a limited menu, which made things a little difficult for girls with lightened hair like me. I understand that they are going to start offering balayage services starting in October, which would be so good! My colorstylist was super sweet and did a great job with my blowout. Today was my first time a Madison Reed. It was very busy and there seemed to be a shortage of staff to check in the clients. Additionally, there are only two chairs for waiting, so people stand around waiting for their appointment. My colorist was Jennifer. She did an excellent job matching my color and my roots are no longer grey! I like the fact that the product does not irritate my scalp and is not tested on animals. I had a great experience at the color bar! I opted for a clear gloss, deep conditioning, and blow out. I got my gloss done first and was offered a hot tea while I waited. The decor is beautiful with grey wood floors and white marble counters. The bathroom is adorable with an inspirational message on the mirror with selfie lighting around the mirror. Glad I came in for a root color, gloss and blow out. Megan did my color and she matched it perfectly. I definitely recommend this salon. They don't hide their products and mix the colors in front of you. They even sell at home kits.

It's always great to spend some 'me time' without worrying about the hustle and bustle that is life. As soon as I walked in the door, I felt incredibly welcomed. Each stylist was very warm and friendly, but Jennifer took my session over the top. Her consult was thorough and we agreed on a color treatment that suited the highlights I already had in my hair.
