I just left the shop . I am not a regular customer so I did not know how the business ran. So services are " a la cart". Most customers go in for root touch up often and have a membership.I misunderstood So I was quite surprised with the price. I mentioned this to the General Manager Tavia , she gave me a complimentary blow out. My hair looks fabulous. I have been a Madison Reed customer for over a year, and they have never disappointed me. The ladies that do my root touch up are very friendly and personable. Many know me by my first name, nice personal touch. My two favorite hairdressers are Jasmine and Celina. They all do a great job with color, shampoo and blow dry.

I am originally an Subscription Member. Loved my first time here on Location. I wanted roots and highlights. Monique does a Fantastic job coloring and highlighting my hair. Giving me great advice how to move forward in lightening my hair. The game plan is on! Tavia the Manager and her crew were super nice and helpful. I got the Pro Plus and look forward to coming regularly instead of doing it at home. The location is perfect with FREE Parking nearby and the Salon is very clean and organized. It was an awesome experience to get my hair roots done. Very professional and warm accommodation. Great information and always keeping me informed of the next steps. Prices are clear. I will surely appreciate it if we have one by Fresno, California. I will surely come back if I am within the area.

Great service and wonderful staff! I have been going to MR for 6 months and I couldn't be happier with the results plus my family says my hair color has never looked better! i definitely recommend MR!

If you're lucky enough to get Karla at Madison Reed/Walnut Creek, you'll get a colorist who really knows what she's doing. Have her do your blowout too - she's a wiz with a hairdryer and brush! Karla is amazing in every way. When I walked out, I felt like a model with my gorgeous highlights and shiny hair!

I like the product and how long it lasted, but I wasn't impressed with their service at all. I was too busy to take before and after pictures, but they dyed a portion of my forehead, which I've not experienced in other top salons. I understand if I did it at home and got it on my forehead, but this is supposed to be a professional.

I just tried this place and am pretty happy with the results. The easy booking process online is a huge plus, and the stylist I got was good. Their color selection was a bit limited IMO (medium brunette looking for ashy based color) but we found something that worked and she suggested balayage around the front. It's extremely subtle but I prefer that than overdone. My only real complaint was I couldn't call there! Yes, I highly recommend. The colorist is usually very nice - only one time I had a bad experience with the gal who was washing my hair... I told her that water went "inside" my ear and she basically barked at me and said "that's normal." I was really upset so I didn't say anything back... but as soon as she stepped away, I quickly hopped on one leg to unclog the ear and wipe it out. She was a bit of a heavyset Latina gal...
