When I first booked my hair appointment, I was at the yelp elite event. I needed to change my hair appointment which you can do online but I had to call them by phone because the special yelp code didn't work online. They are so sweet and professional on the phone. I called a day before my appointment because I had questions, and again, very friendly and helpful. I arrived at my appointment and was handed a gown. I went to the bathroom to change. I have been going to Madison Reed for hair color for years. The products are wonderful, but Analise, my colorist, is amazing. I met her when she was at the San Francisco location, and now I drive to Walnut Creek so she can do my Color. She is a talented colorist, does a beautiful blow dry, and is just a wonderful person. I have really long, thick wavy hair that is hard to work with and she always does an amazing job. I would follow her ANYWHERE!!! Very nice and quick service. I made an appointment but was a little late. I called but maybe they were busy. Later they called to check and made arrangement for me. Really appreciate it. The gloss itself only takes a little less than an hour and the outcome is really nice. My hair looked shiny and glossy. So I bought the product and they recommended to do it every 4-6 weeks. But I washed my hair this morning and the color is not as nice as it was. Will see how it goes

It's really important to me that I trust who is doing my hair. My haircolorist was Analise and after talking with her about what color I should do and the process, I had complete faith in her. This hair salon is clean & new (opened in Nov. 2018) and I love the ambiance here. I had an appointment for roots + gloss + blowout and I'm so happy with the results! Truly a roots+gloss+blowout for the ages. Or 4-6 weeks, anyhow. Alba did a stellar job on my fine, curly hair with serious gray roots. She chose the perfect caramel brown and polished it off with a sheer espresso gloss. The products have a light lavender fragrance and are so gentle on your hair and scalp. Normally I wear my hair Curly Girl-style (I know you're out there ) but I trusted her to experiment with straightening and she did an amazing job fluffing up the flat bits and eradicating pesky cowlicks. She's a master!!

Love love love it!!! That's all I can say I'm in love with Madison reed color Bar!! I wish I would of had this years ago it's healthy products for your hair and free of chemicals doesn't get better than that! I'm in love with my new hair color it's so healthy and soft like butter. Cute adorable salon! I got the semi-perm gloss and blow dry. My hair was super shiny and the left over balayage that I had previous done had gone from copper brass-ish tones to honey !! Alba did an amazing job then styled my hair afterwards because I had a 1920s theme party to go to afterwards. Wood highly recommend !!!

Roots + Gloss + Blow Out Holy cow! This place is paradise. The aesthetic alone is worth your trip inside. You've got positivity and modern elegance spread from floor to ceiling. Who doesn't love gorgeous hair? Am I right or am I right? I've heard of Madison Reed products but had no idea they had a salon. They have 2 other locations, San Francisco, Corte Madera, and now Walnut Creek being the newest location. I've seen MR products being carried at Ulta stores, with it being box dye, it didn't catch my interest only because I don't color my roots and have my hair done by a stylist on the regular.
