I came in for a roots, gloss, and blow dry. I was initially concerned because I naturally have dark hair so I wasn't sure how much of a difference it could make. I am not sure what Color the stylist chose for me but what I can say is I was very pleasantly surprised. My hair went from a dark dark brown to a light chocolate brown that I really liked. I preface this review by saying I ended up being happy with my experience hence he five star rating. However, I sort of had to be very proactive as far as the color. They do a computerized assessment for the color. It was a level 4 very very dark brown. I'm a natural red head. With highlights and graying. It was almost black. This is a great place, especially if you want to touch up your roots and/or are looking for natural, chemical-free color. However, due to that, bear in mind that the color that you get won't be as light (if you want it lighter) as you normally would like since it's without any (or many?) chemicals. Also, they charge your for the color of the gloss (if you do a gloss), I believe, but the salon is very nice and clean, great staff and overall good experience.

Very happy with the way my hair color turned out! I'm normally uneasy about having anything new done to my hair, but the color is perfect and my hair is super soft and shiny! My grays are well covered and their product smells good! No harsh ammonia fumes! I'm waiting to see how long my grays stay covered (they're quite resistant!) before making another appointment, but I highly recommend going here!! Thanks, Julie!

So glad this Salon and products are now available @ WC!! I used to buy MR products online to color my hair myself- I love that their products are free of ammonia and harsh chemicals and don't smell bad but with time , using the same color got me some unwanted brass tones. I decided to check out their salon - nice experience , great convenient location at Broadway plaza and very nice friendly and knowledgeable stuff. got a mixture of two colors that works great for me and also a gloss all over Love it Will be back!

I have now gone to Madison Reed twice. Once in SF and once in WC. I have been lucky enough to have the same colorist each time. The first time we decided to do a full color and it turned out beautifully. I applied root reboot at about 6 weeks and visited the new WC site yesterday at about 8-9 weeks and we did a root coverage with all over gloss. I got an amazing number of compliments last night. It coved all the gray hair completely! But the color is too dark. Darker than my hair. I went to Madison Reed color bar in my area and they match it to my hair but unfortunately it is too dark. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars,

Nice and clean place to have your hair pampered to look beautiful. Staff is friendly and professional. A place that I'm happy to go back and recommend it to my friends! Try their products. They are excellent!!!
