What I liked: They were on time! I didn't have to wait around; the colorist was ready to go. The Salon is clean, neat, bright and attractive. Reviewed my subscription and color selection, and agreed it was the best one for me. I really like that you can go to the salon and get color, shampoo, conditioner and other MR products and save money on shipping (their shampoo is great). Making an appointment was easy online, but the service I wanted (full color root to tip) wasn't listed, so I signed up for a roots and gloss. When I discussed my needs with my color expert, they advised a full color, luckily the same price as what I'd signed up for, and similar time needed, so my needs were met! The salon was nice, the colorists were professional and nice. The issue I had was that the coverage for my gray hair wasn't that great. The product is natural and smelled great, but I guess without the chemicals, the gray isn't processed well..

Love it! Easy to make an appointment, get in and get out. The process was easy, relaxing and my hair looked awesome and 2 weeks later still looks awesome! This is so much easier than doing it at home, more reasonable than a regular salon (about 1/3 the cost for a color), high end color, gluten free, super conditioning and no mess at home. This is a must to keep the greys away!

My first time coming into this Salon in Walnut Creek. I was assigned Josh as my colorist. He had his work cut out for him. Unfortunately my prior color had faded and Gray coverage was extremely needed. Josh consulted with me and select appropriate blend of New color and gloss. The results are fantastic! I took a chance to see if I could get a short-lead time appointment at Madison Reed. I was super lucky that they had a cancellation and could squeeze me in this afternoon. Annalise, my colorist was fabulous and I am thrilled with the results! My hair color is rich, natural-looking, and without a spot of those pesky grays. I think the Madison Reed concept is brilliant, and I can't wait until they open a branch closer to me in Berkeley, Emeryville, or Oakland!

I found out about Madison Reed through a Yelp event and I was so excited to give this place a try. I've never had a gloss treatment or blow out before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I had my appointment with Tammy and she was absolutely amazing. Warm personality, attentive, and I really enjoyed the time I spent there. Love this place ....so glad to have found it It's pretty and clean and my stylist Maria was so nice and did such a great job on my hair David the manager was really friendly and such a nice guy And ........ my hair turned out great, shiny and the color was perfect I'll be back for sure
