I was very happy with my purchase. I came with my then girlfriend but beforehand, had called the sales rep over the phone, asking to make up a story that it would be a long lead time before they could actually get the ring in. I just wanted to bring her to look at it and to see if she would like it. Of course she loved the Verragio (which Mervis is one of the only reps of around this area) but the long lead time I told her concerned me. Mervis Diamond Importers offer a great experience for buying a wedding ring. My wife and I met with one Mervis consultant, Jordan Stein. Jordan helped us find the perfect wedding rings. The rings came in right on time and we had no issues with the delivery or pickup. Jordan and Mervis Diamonds offered personal attention that we did not find at any other jeweler in the area. Mervis Diamonds has definitely become my jeweler for the Washington DC metro area. I highly recommend Mervis Diamonds and Jordan Stein.

My husband and I met with Lisa, and she was unbelievably awesome! She gave us all the information, based on our likes and how we wanted to customize our bands. You walk in through a secured double door, and they lead you into a room. Not a typical jewelry store where you browse around their selection, but they first sit you down, offer to polish your ring(s) for free, and then bring a selection that seems to fit your style as well as fits your engagement ring. My husband and I had the best experience with Mervis Diamonds. We looked around at other jewelers but felt like we got so so service. My consultant Jordan was great. We came on a Sunday with about 30 mins prior to closing and he treated us with the utmost respect. He did not try and push us out of the store and we stayed about 35 mins past closing. My GF and I made an appt to see him that following Saturday and again he was very respectful and answered all of my GF questions. VERY friendly and again did not push me to buy anything. Mervis Diamond Importers definitely lives up to their reputation. I recently got engaged and my diamond specialist, Sara Tosyali, was very helpful. From the minute I walked through the door to when I finally purchased the ring, there wasn't a single moment when she was not available to answer my questions. I had a great experience working with Mervis. I first visited their Friendship Heights location without an appointment and was amazed that they actually called a representative (Sara Tosyali) to travel from the Vienna, VA location, since they weren't otherwise able to personally assist me. After having visited several jewelry stores in the DC/MD area, and then speaking with Sara at Mervis for the day I felt very comfortable with their way of doing business and traveled to the Vienna location several times. My overall experience was great..I do see people have had different experiences here. First place I went to when I started looking for an engagement ring, sat down with Tina Claery who asked if I knew what I was looking for and what I wanted. I did, which made it very easy to go through different options, rings, diamonds etc. I suggest doing your research before you go looking for a ring so you are not overwhelmed and don't get frustrated. I went to Mervis for an engagement ring and my advisor was Sara Tosyali. She was fantastic, helped me learn about the kind of diamonds, offered several different styles and designs, and helped me pick out a great setting and stone. We went back a few months later for a wedding band and my fiancee and I were able to find a perfect ring. We shopped around and found that comparable rings in and around the area from different stores were much more expensive so we went with the Mervis ring.
