Without question, a great experience from start to finish. After working with a couple of other jewelers in NOVA, we decided to visit Mervis one Saturday afternoon to see what they had to offer. Yes, the double doors for security was weird to get used and didn't set the right tone as we made our way into the store. Once inside though we were impressed. I came to Mervis being thoroughly unimpressed with Jared the Galleria of Jewelry. When I arrived at Mervis it was 5:30PM and they closed at 6PM. The salesman who assisted me stayed past 6PM to assist me and get an idea of what I was looking for. Keep in mind I showed up without making an appointment. When we wrapped up day one I had made a followup appointment to come back the next day. Admittedly, I am a picky person and had an idea in mind of what I wanted in an engagement ring. My boyfriend and I went to Mervis because I did my homework and saw several rings on their website that met my criteria. We were excited and hoped that Mervis would provide one-stop shopping for us. We recently purchased a Tacori engagement ring from Mervis. After shopping for the better part of two years, my (now) fiancee and I had a very good sense of what we wanted. The other jewelers we had worked with at other stores (from NY to DC) had a frustrating way of dancing around a lot of our direct questions (GIA vs. EGL, pricing structures, marketing strategies, etc). I was very happy with my purchase. I came with my then girlfriend but beforehand, had called the sales rep over the phone, asking to make up a story that it would be a long lead time before they could actually get the ring in. I just wanted to bring her to look at it and to see if she would like it. Of course she loved the Verragio (which Mervis is one of the only reps of around this area) but the long lead time I told her concerned me. Mervis Diamond Importers offer a great experience for buying a wedding ring. My wife and I met with one Mervis consultant, Jordan Stein. Jordan helped us find the perfect wedding rings. The rings came in right on time and we had no issues with the delivery or pickup. Jordan and Mervis Diamonds offered personal attention that we did not find at any other jeweler in the area. Mervis Diamonds has definitely become my jeweler for the Washington DC metro area. I highly recommend Mervis Diamonds and Jordan Stein.

My husband and I met with Lisa, and she was unbelievably awesome! She gave us all the information, based on our likes and how we wanted to customize our bands. You walk in through a secured double door, and they lead you into a room. Not a typical jewelry store where you browse around their selection, but they first sit you down, offer to polish your ring(s) for free, and then bring a selection that seems to fit your style as well as fits your engagement ring. My husband and I had the best experience with Mervis Diamonds. We looked around at other jewelers but felt like we got so so service. When we went to Mervis, we knew we had found what we were looking for. The lady who helped us with my engagement ring was so knowledgeable about diamonds and answered all of our questions. My consultant Jordan was great. We came on a Sunday with about 30 mins prior to closing and he treated us with the utmost respect. He did not try and push us out of the store and we stayed about 35 mins past closing. My GF and I made an appt to see him that following Saturday and again he was very respectful and answered all of my GF questions. VERY friendly and again did not push me to buy anything.
