Great place to bank. Lots of lending and savings options with great rates. Call ahead to make an appointment for a mortgage unless going to the main branch in Chelsea.
Best bank ever. I have never waited in line. The pay all my ATM fees back to me. You speak to a human who can think freely. The staff are always friendly. I pay zero fees. The place is consistently clean ,you can get free coffee and a free money machine. Why go to a mega bank where the fees are double and the tellers can't make any decisions.
We don't often frequent this bank but occasionally we stop here with family that live in Chelsea. Today we popped in to change some coins for cash, and er enjoyed our visit. The staff here was very polite, they got customers in quickly and in the end we got rid of our coin collection. Overall, not a bad bank, but we also only visit this branch from time to time.

I went to the office in Melrose and the person who I dealt with (Bob) truly exceeded the standard for customer service. The office was clean, and the people there were all helpful and polite. This organization gets a perfect A plus in my book. I highly recommend.
Love Metro... This has been my Family's Bank for as long as I can remember! Love that they have been opening up more Branches in Boston lately... Makes it super convenient... Love what they offer & the benefits I receive!
I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Metro credit union. My favorite feature is the Finance Works option that lets you link all accounts (credit cards, student loans, utility bills) to one place so that you can really see where your money is going. Also, they pay you back ANY fee charged at ANY ATM in the WORLD! The only draw back is that if you don't live in Chelsey, you have to deposit your checks in another ATM and wait 4 days for it to clear. Otherwise, I am finally in love.
