I have never had an online loan payment system which is as difficult to use as MetroCU. I strongly encourage finding a loan elsewhere. Each month is a different issue. You need to complete PAPER forms and mail back to do recurring payments. Who does that in 2022. They have multiple places to login and change screens so you need to figure out where to login each month. Plan to spend an hour or so waiting for help, and if you get transferred, most likely to the wrong location.

The worst customer service in the banking industry! Long wait time On phone tree and never able to resolve customer issues that they create by giving false information.

I wish i could give this place 0 stars. This bank is awful. I have my auto loan with them and every single month it's another issue. I schedule my payment for a specific date and it doesn't get processed till days later and instead gets refunded which ends up being a fee from my bank and a late fee from them!!!! You can sit on hold with them for hours and nobody will ever pick up the phone. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BANK. nothing but problems.

I have been banking with Metro for 5 or more years fees have gotout of hand , being that they don't have automatic deposits you would think they would get deposits before accessing fees Angry about it!!!!!!

I've honestly stuck with you guys through a lot... A LOT! You guys had decent dividends on savings, good teller service, the convenience of online banking, refunding ATM fees, etc. etc. At this point... the frustration is quickly outweighing the benefits. I stuck with you guys when my card stopped working multiple times for no reason. I stuck with you through upgrade after upgrade to your online banking service which screwed up my access to my account. Like many of the other reviewers, I got screwed when Metro Credit Union went through their IT upgrade. I have a car loan through MCU. My account, automatic payments, etc. got wiped out. I too spent an hour plus on the phone with an inept customer service person to try to get my account restored. I was able to set up a new account and login, but after I got off the phone with the customer service rep and tried to login again, of course it did not work. I absolutely loathe Metro. Last time I called with an account question, the first person I got to said their computers were down so they had to put me on hold again to reach someone else. The 2nd person I spoke with apparently could not do what I was asking because of a technical issue and put me on hold with a 3rd person. The 3rd person ends up being A DIFFERENT BANK. So disappointed with this bank. I've been a member for 10 years never had any issues & referred to everyone. As soon as this new online app came about I began having so many issues with my account, account accuracy, etc. to the point where I had uncontrollable overdraft fees, inaccurate reports. Prior to this for 10 year I had never had any issues or overdraft issues like this. I called several times asking to speak to account managers, received no call backs for months. I have been a member for over 15 years. They have considerably gone downhill these past two years and now with covid it's nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone. Do yourself a favor and use another bank. Horrible service
