WORST PIECE OF CRAP EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This printer won't work with Mac OS Mojave, despite the manufacturer stating otherwise. I spent hours trying to set it up only to be able to print one page at a time and the printer become invisible to the network. Brother's useless tech support only sent links to issues that do not even resemble the problem. Waste of money This printer is terrible, it eat inks at the fastest rate I have ever seen. There is no way I am getting 200 sheets out of the XL ink cartridges. The low price is there because Brother knows they will kill you with ink costs. It rarely if ever keeps a wifi connection so you go to print and you spend 30 mins reconnecting the printer even though nothing has changed in your network. Stay away go get an Epson like I did for twice the price but its twice as nice.
No don't Super slow printing, especially copies. Buttons are to hard to read and confusing, just to turn off you have to push two buttons (Why). Only good thing is its cheap. Don't bother buying a brother

No Ethernet No Ethernet port, which is said because I got it because it says in the description that it has one. WiFi is okay, once it’s on sleep for a while it won’t wake up when you try to send it a print job. I’m thinking to return it...
Save your money. Get something else I’m so appalled at the way this printer prints. Slow and wastes the ink (which in general doesn’t last long). I should have read the review here instead of on a website. Waste of money! As a teacher, I already don’t make much but this thing has sucked so much money from me already and not even a month into ownership!
Complete trash Total junk. Would not recognize the ink cartridges on first install. Spent 2 hours on YouTube and Brother Help, without resolution. I’m returning.
Frustrating I rarely actually write reviews but I am so frustrated with this printer. I cannot complete one single print job without the printer jamming or incorrectly informing me that it is out of paper. The plus side is that when it does jam, it's relatively easy to solve. Just so irritating that it happens with such frequency...
Do not buy When it does want to print, well, it prints. But if you don’t gave, say, yellow ink even if you have a full cartridge of black ink, it won’t print. I’ve selected to print black only and nothing. Sometimes it even appears as offline and I’ve had to do the entire wireless set up again. I initially bought this to make it easier to print wireless and because it does double siding printing, but I waste hours just trying to get it to print one page. An absolute piece of garbage
