Brother 64-bit Twain drivers Absent Without Leave Have MFC-J6920DW. Had to use PhotoShop 32-bit to get access to Twain scanning. Complained to Brother several times "No Twain option for PhotoShop 62-bit. Had both 32 and 64 installed on Win10. New computer has Win11, so no PhotoShop 32-bit available now. The only option for PhoSho 64-bit on Win10 and Win11 is WIA, and that scan software is garbage, not user friendly. I just AGAIN 08/10/2022 downloaded the driver package Brother recommends for W11 64-bit and installed it. NOTI... read more

Clog central It was ok, but clogged a lot, and every time you purge, it fills the maintenance box a bit. Then the warranty runs out, and the ink purge fill box has to be replaced. But that is maintenance and even if it under warranty, you have to pay for it to be replaced at a service center. It is not a user-serviceable part, so you cannot easily buy a replacement, AND, they will not provide instructions for replacement. I would not buy again.

Broke in about 1 year You can definitely find a better printer for the price—don’t buy this for your business, bad investment.

Ink issues Ink issues. Just today I replaced all four colors and went through the clean cycle to address issues with blank lines on all the papers I printed. After a couple "clean cycles" on the printer to fix the missing lines it drained all the ink on the cartridges. I can't make this up. I had warnings before to replace the cartridges so I did this and it didn't fix the missing lines while printing. After a few cleaning cycles now it tells me that the M, C, & Y cartridges are empty to the point of printing Black&White onl... read more

Piece of Junk This printer does not work at all. After two years of screwing around with trying to get the printer to print property its worse than ever. Keep changing out the ink to see if that improves it and no luck. Its junk. Throwing it away. Don't buy it. And the people who say its good I don't know what planet your on.

Printer known for losing the connection I wouldn't recommend this is you're going to hook it up wirelessly. Search the internet, you'll see these Brother printers are notorious for losing the connection to computers. We have two PCs and an iMac and are constantly having this issue. You go to print and it says it's searching for the printer. The only way to fix that I've found is to reinstall the printer on each computer. Brother's support were useless and they seem to be ignoring this known issue as far as putting out a fix.

I Wish I Hadn't . . . In June of 2020, I had a great printer that was glitchy about software issues but the quality of the prints and photos was spectacular. But since it couldn't communicate with my computer anymore, and after a lot of research, I settled (SETTLED) on this Brother MFC-J6935DW Inkjet All-in-One. Its images are horrendously bad. Plus I need to be able to make copies that I can tweak for enlarging and reducing. This beast will not do that. I hate it. *Hate it*. Save yourself and your money--don't buy this.
