I'm getting less than 2 ppm on anything I print The advertise 10-12ppm (respectable for my needs). I'm not in a huge hurry when I need to print, but this is ridiculous! Definitely better buys for less. I think I'd like to return this.
Feeder is poorly crafted I've had two brother printers. Both of which were okay until about 6 months in when the feeder just stops working so it no longer remains a functional printer. I've even gone through the painstaking steps to get it repaired for free by company (appointment set up, carting the printer there, waiting 3-6 weeks for them to do the actual repairs). Even after this was done, it still doesn't feed properly so I can't print anything. If you're paying for a printer, it should at least print and feed the paper... read more
Ongoing problems after one year Worked ok for a year. Then repeated and hard to fix error messages. Online support pretty good except product not reliable even after fix
Dont Buy Worst printer I have ever bought. Colors are washed out and black not really good. I am packing it up and sending it back!! Wish I could give it no stars.
Problematic We've had this printer for about a year now and I am not satisfied. The first printer we got jammed and would not unjam. I went though customer service at Brother and to their credit they sent us another. Granted, the new one was a refurbished printer that looked much more worn that the new one we sent back. Terrible Printer This is supposed to be a photo printer or rather all type printer. The colors are terrible. Very pale. I followed the instructions and changed the setting away from "Save in" settings. Nothing has changed. I have tried changing other settings as well. The colors are very very pale. That was a complete waste of money.
Worst Printer This is the worst printer I have ever owned. It wont send copies tomy outlook, and the quality of the color prints is the worst! I am going back to my cheaper Cannon Pixma!
Died after 7 months Bought this printer in July 2018, and it is totally dead as of February 2019. Gathering warranty info - it's supposed to have a one year warranty. I have never had a printer fail this quickly. I will update the review once I find out what Brother will do to make it right.
Don't buy this thing unless your into frustration A week after I bought it the ink cartridges dried up and had to be replaced, if it sets longer than a week it will not print. The software is impossible to understand, the screen on the printer is small and hard to read and use. I could not get the software to appear on the computer screen to make it easier to use.
