Dr. Merz is a competent, caring physician who understands the whole patient. One is not just a joint to be fixed. He listens, takes his time and is always upbeat and positive. These attributes are reflected in his patient care. His knee and hip training is impeccable. I wholeheartedly recommend him!
My seven-week follow-up after knee replacement surgery was Friday. My recovery and physical therapy are progressing, but my range of motion needs to increase. Dr Merz carefully explained to me what I need do. I am always impressed with the care he gives me and I highly recommend Dr Merz.

Dr Merz is on top of his game. He is doing what God has gifted him to do. He is kind and has a great bedside manner. He listens and truly cares that you have a great outcome. He is very experienced, and has confidence in his abilities as a surgeon. Every time I called his office, they were pleasant, and I was called back promptly.

Always there for me
I love that Dr. Merz takes the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. None of my appointments felt rushed. My hip surgery was successful and I am living my life pain free.
Dr. Merz has a reputation among other providers and patients as being a excellent surgeon with consistent great surgery outcomes. He's clear, compassionate and caring. Just had my second hip replacement with him and wouldn't RH think of choosing anyone else!
Dr. Merz did my knee replacement surgery and everything went great. He is an excellent surgeon in my opinion and I would certainly recommend him.
