I would highly recommend Mintahoe and the Minnesota Boat Club to anyone looking for a more intimate event. We ended up with around 100 guests and the space was a perfect fit. We had so many compliments on the food and questions about how we found such a beautiful venue. Everything was very organized down to a timeline of meetings, so it was very easy for us to know when things needed to be done. I can't say enough about Tracy McCarthy and the Mintahoe staff at the Nicollet Island Pavilion. From the very beginning, Tracy treated us like family, and went out of her to make our wedding a success. The venue was perfect and food was amazing. Guests raved about the entire experience. Without a doubt, I would recommend Nicollet Island Pavilion. It was the perfect outdoor venue.

Had a wonderful wedding at the Pavilion in July! The location and venue are truly beautiful! We were able to have the wedding exactly how we liked! I would say the only downside is having to cater through them (just food, you can cater your own desserts). I also planned my wedding long-distance, which this venue did not accommodate in the best way. I work 8-5 everyday and it was difficult to find someone who could set aside time in the evening or weekends to have a phone meeting, which was postponed so long that we didn't ha... read more

We loved Mintahoe Catering for our wedding at Nicollet Island Pavilion!! They were very organized and worked with us to plan every detail so the day went smoothly. The food was delicious and the dessert bar was outstanding! I'd recommend cake pops...our guests were raving about these!! Very impressed and had a fabulous experience with Mintahoe.

We could not be happier with Mintahoe! We had our wedding at A'BULAE, and Mintahoe is the only caterer they work with. The food was a little pricier than we had originally wanted, but we definitely got what we paid for - the food was FANTASTIC! Our guests raved about it (as a wedding guest, I usually don't say anything beyond "yeah, everything was good!" so all of the very sincere and enthusiastic compliments about the food took me a little off guard) - the short ribs and the brownie pops were especially crowd pleasers :) On... read more

I would echo The Knot's 4-star recommendation suggestion: "Fantastic, a solid choice." I worked with Erin on my wedding at the Minneapolis Central Library. She was awesome, very quick to respond to questions, very honest, and did everything she could to make a perfect day for us. She herself gets a 5-star review. Everything went seamless the day of the wedding. The day-of coordinator was the most calm person, which was very nice. We absolutely LOVED the entire Mintahoe Catering & Events Staff for our wedding this past Friday, July 21, 2017. Everything turned out beautifully. Erin was amazing to work with, incredibly helpful, and easy to communicate with.
