About Mintahoe Catering & Events In 1993, we opened our doors with one catering van and a few grills. Today, Mintahoe Catering & Events is the largest family-owned and family-operated catering company in Minnesota. With four bustling catering divisions and nine signature venues, we understand that every event and every client is unique. Thanks to our talented team and wonderful clients, we proudly cater to more than 5,000 events each year!

Mintahoe, was absolutely amazing to work with. The food was delicious and beautifully served. From start to finish working with Mary Jo and the rest of the Mintahoe team was fantastic. Since I am detail oriented too, I loved knowing someone else would look after the details on the day of my daughter and son-in-law's wedding day. We used Mintahoe for our wedding on May 13th 2017 at Mississippi Gardens. The staff was nothing short of amazing during our entire planning process. Erin was our Mintahoe consultant through Mississippi Gardens and she was truly the best! Every question I had about both the venue and food or beverage she had a prompt answer to. Mintahoe was fantastic! The food at our wedding was delicious and it was prepared and timed perfectly. They were attentive regarding my gluten allergy and accommodated our other special requests (e.g. personal wine selections) seamlessly. Mary Jo was thorough and professional and our guests were delighted with the results!

Overall, our experience with Mintahoe was fairly good. The guests loved the food and everything went smoothly with the planning process and the rest of the evening. However, we did not get the choice to work with them as our venue required it. While I had no problem with the service and the food, I thought their pricing was a little ridiculous. Mintahoe was simply amazing! The food was delicious and the onsite staff was fabulous to work with! We were beyond satisfied with our choice in catering! Not only was the day of food spot on, the customer service we received from Lindsey was above and beyond. Mintahoe Catering was truly an amazing experience! Erin Wade is the event coordinator and a huge help to the entire wedding process to both the bride and groom and their families. Mintahoe was such a great vendor! We chose the Minnesota Boat Club to get married at, which is a smaller and historic venue in St. Paul. Because of its historic value we had a few limits with decorations on walls, but we had absolutely no problems and our guests loved how unique the space was. The venue also worked with us up until the day of with our guest list and budget, as well as to make sure we could get married outside (Late October in MN gets iffy!) and they blew all the fallen leaves off the ground so that guests ha... read more
