About Mintahoe Catering & Events In 1993, we opened our doors with one catering van and a few grills. Today, Mintahoe Catering & Events is the largest family-owned and family-operated catering company in Minnesota. With four bustling catering divisions and nine signature venues, we understand that every event and every client is unique. Thanks to our talented team and wonderful clients, we proudly cater to more than 5,000 events each year!

Our venue for The Van Dusen Wedding was absolutely perfect and a fairy tale wedding come true! The wedding for Rachel and Boyd Netley on July 15th, 2018 was forever remembered fondly by our families and us of coarse. The Van Dusen team made the entire day go by very smoothly and put the bride, groom, and whole wedding party all at ease through the entire event. The catering from Mintahoe was so delicious! We used Mintahoe for our event at the Van Duesen Mansion and they were absolutely incredible. The food was stellar and they were very easy to plan with. I have never used a catering company to this caliber and the staff were very accommodating to budget as well as helpful in making food selections. Highly recommend using them for your next catered event!

We had our wedding at A'bulae in September and received so many compliments on the food and service (still to this day). I had read some reviews complaining on the price, but you get what you pay for. They had so many options for food choices, and the tasting was a great way to help narrow it down.Appetizers were great, and the staff even put some at the head table since we didn't get the chance to have any during social hour due to pictures. My husband and I used Mintahoe for our wedding and were so impressed with the quality of the food! We got so many compliments with how great he food was. They were easy to work with and very open to answer all of our questions. I would recommend them to anyone!

We loved everything about working with Mintahoe. They were very knowledgeable and when we wanted a custom dinner offering, they did it with ease. The food was amazing and we had numerous guests talk about how good the food was several days after the event. I would recommend them to any couple getting married that wants to have great food at their event.

Our wedding was in June, and it is now January and we are STILL hearing about how fantastic the food was at our wedding. We had stations placed throughout our venue with our favorites, and everyone enjoyed trying all of the different options. The “smashtini” was a big hit - we recreated it for Thanksgiving! My husband and I had an amazing experience with Mintahoe for our December wedding. From start to finish, Mary Jo and the whole team catered (pun unintended) to us. We wanted certain things done a little different than the "standard" and it was never an issue. They were so organized day-of that I never even noticed the scene changes. The plated service was amazing, cake was delicious, service was incredible - Honestly everything was perfect. Thank you Mintahoe!!

We got married at Nicollet Island Pavilion and loved the look of the venue and the many options for indoor/outdoor accommodations. The food is expensive, but fabulous, so you get what you pay for! Overall our wedding was full of love, fun and the vibe we were looking for! I wish I could give it 5 stars for the above reasons and 2 stars for the efficiency of the planning process and billing. We hired Mintahoe for their bar package at the James J. Hill Center and they were amazing! Sarah was so easy to work with on setting up the event and answered all my questions promptly and in detail. And Johnny the bartender was absolutely fantastic. He was quick, friendly, and always had a drink ready for us--and the guests loved him, too! If you use Mintahoe for your event, request him. You will not be disappointed.
