We have been using this for our emergency pet care for several years. Our dachshund fell ill and no matter what we did we couldn't save him. The doctors and nurses were so kind and supportive throughout his treatment. The doctors communicated every day what was happening with his health and laid out all of our options. When we were there it was common for them to tell us how sweet he was and how much he enjoyed having him. I assumed they told everyone that. Came here on our way through town. We have been traveling for about 6 months in our RV and were in Kansas visiting family when one of our little guys got sick, so I brought him in on a Sunday morning and they got me in fairly quickly and ran some test, was very through in explaining the test and sent us home with meds. Very impressed with everyone there. It was a win experience! I would definitely recommend.

I drive from Springfield, Mo to bring my senior rescue dog to Mission Referral. Both times I have driven up there for emergencies and my dog and I were treated well. They work quickly to diagnose my dogs issues and the communication with me was top notch. I admire the work that they do greatly. The team from front desk to tech to the doctors really helped my dog to heal and live a better quality of life. I have mixed feelings about this clinic. I've used their specialty vet services for my dog with some luck and had a positive experience with their emergency/hospitalization services back in April, but this past visit was not good. Some of the vets are excellent, but a few I would not trust to care for my animal. The tech staff has always been very helpful and kind. My poor cat was severely hurt and in pain. They took excellent care of Cleo from the individuals at the front desk, to the nurses, to the Vet. They were all amazing in caring for my Cleo. Thank you all for what you do. I appreciate you.

Dr. Wall and all of the employees at Mission Animal Referral and Emergency Center were amazing. Our family walked in rather worried about our dog Maverick, and they confidently and competently set our minds at ease as they lovingly took Maverick under their care to provide answers for us as quickly as possible. Had the best experience here on 4th of July! My dog Conrad was at play date & got a tick right on his eyelid (to close to his little eye) The staff was extremely helpful and Chris got the tick out extremely fast!! We were in and out in less then 30 minutes! Not a huge deal but it's nice knowing that an emergency room for your pet is available with such a great staff! Side note- it was extremely clean and welcoming! Thanks!!

This past weekend, my dog vomited blood and I was debating between which emergency vet in KC to bring him to. I decided Mission Animal and am confident I made the right choice. My dog Leo and I saw Dr. Stevens. Dr. Stevens, the nurse, and the receptionist were all very kind. Dr. Stevens gave me two options of care with price estimates and explained each very thoroughly. I honestly will do just about anything for my cats and spend almost any amount of money to keep them healthy and alive. They are my fur babies and seriously one of the most important things in my life. The experience I had at this vet clinic showed me that they are also willing to do whatever they can to keep my cats around for as long as possible.
