Get directionsOne of the absolute worst days of my life was made better by the kindness and compassion of the staff and physicians of MVES. I never want to have to go back, but if I do, there will be no hesitation. Lauren at check in and Evan at check out have the biggest hearts and were so sympathetic, and Dr. Houghton went above and beyond to make sure we understood the situation we were in and made our difficult decision as comfortable as possible.
Even tho we ended up losing our cattle dog, he had a kidney disease, everyone there was so kind, informative, the attention and care given to D'Jango was awesome. We couldn't have asked for better caring people.

We brought our cat in this evening because he was having trouble breathing. We left with him in a box 😭 The staff, everyone - the vet, the nurse, the technician, the receptionist, EVERYONE was gentle and showed just as much concern as we did. Things happened very quickly from intake to possible treatment options. We had to make a very hard decision to put our sweet boy down, but this whole care team eased the pain a little. They brought comfort in our time of need.

My cat got very sick on Monday and had to rush her to this place never head of it but was the first place that popped up for 24 hr service. Got there and no faster than I could get in the door they could see how worried I was and had a member out to check on my cat before I could even ge to the desk to take my cat to the back and check on her. Our sweet dog Truman was hit by a car & broke his 2 front legs. We were so lucky to have Dr Wilson perform the surgery that repaired his broken legs. Dr Wilson eased our fears & assured us that w surgery we could expect a full recovery. Dr Wilson & team were so kind easy to work with, totally recommend

Our 7 month old baby miniature dachshund started presenting with back pain. We rushed her to Mission Veterinary ER Wednesday night. Early Thursday, Dr. Weinstein evaluated our baby. He was direct, which we appreciated, and gave us regular updates. Our baby ended up with meningitis that had spread to her brain. I was referred to this hospital by my Veterinarian in Springfield Mo for a luxating petalla on my 5 lb chihuahua. After scheduling Dr Wilson did a quick consultation followed by surgery the next day. Right after the surgery I was called to let me know the surgery went good. I was impressed that he kept him over night to make sure everything was good. My review was almost a strong 5 stars. We drove from 3 hours away for a patella luxation repair on our 11 month old puppy. Dr Wilson is phenomenal! My puppy loved him and so far as we can tell this early, he did a wonderful job fixing our puppy's leg. He kept us updated and informed. I am very happy with him. Kady at the desk is also phenomenal!
