Pet owners that live anywhere around northeast Johnson County: Bookmark this spot. I sure hope you don't have to come here, but it never hurts to have a plan in case of emergency. We left our dog in his kennel for a few hours to nap in the A/C while we were out. When we came home, there was all kinds of mess everywhere (vomit, diarrhea) which was shocking to come home to. Additionally he was lethargic and kinda drooly and shaky. We knew he had to be seen, and his go-to vet had no appointments. I loaded him into the car a... read more

Adam, we are so happy you that your pet is doing well. Thank you for your understanding of the crazy times we are dealing with. We know that communication is the biggest struggle right now. Couldn't be more pleased with the care my Max received after eating sugar free gum. Every staff member was professional, informed, and pleasant. Shout out to Dr. Powell for putting up with my anxiety for 3 days. He is not out of the woods yet but on the mend. I would place any future needs (please no) in their capable hands.

Business response:

Thank you. We hope that your sweet baby has made a full recovery.

One of the few 24/7 emergency clinics around I am very thankful they were here. No matter the time, they will take care of you. Thinking of paying a visit? Let's settle some things. Most negative reviews talk about price. Straight up, yes they are a cash-grab. But that's the $99 convenience fee of being seen at midnight when everywhere else is closed. IF ANYWHERE ELSE IS OPEN then save your $$$. Come here in an after hours life threatening EMERGENCY. Another negative review mentioned dr. experience, if your pet will nee... read more

My dog got a torn ACL injury - she was limping all the time. I did a lot of research and met w/ a few vets. I settled on Dr. Allen because he is a specialist in this Surgery and had a good 'bed side manner' with both me and my dog . He was the only one I met w/ who didn't do a hard sell and when I realized it was gonna cost $4,700+ did say yes, you can do nothing and she will simply limp forever (ie none of the others I met w/ gave me any other options..as though everyone easily has $5K laying around to spend) Since this is ... read more

My two 12 pound dogs got into sugar free gum--one piece is toxic for that weight and they chewed 26 pieces. Got them to this hospital quickly and they were the most professional, kind and compassionate people. After 3 days of around the clock monitoring and medication the dogs were able to come home. I am so grateful that a horrible incident resulted in such a success!

EXCELLENT SERVICE! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! My fur-baby, Echo had a bone stuck in her throat when I returned home from work. Upon arrival to the hospital, I was immediately greeted by staff who stayed calm and rushed my dog to the back while I gave my information. Within minutes, I was in an office looking at X-rays with the doctor. They found the bone lodged in her throat and had a plan of execution. What seemed like less than 5 minutes went by and the doctor was already back in the room with the said bone. She was to rema... read more

This place saved my pup's life when he was having breathing problems at 6 months old. Yes it was expensive but their level of care is not easy to find. He is now 16 months old and living a normal life. The staff and Dr Wall are amazing!

I called on a Friday night because our dog had a bad reaction to the anesthesia from a dental she had done earlier that day, they were very nice & even though they were really busy, they got us right in. Everyone at the front desk was nice, & when we got back to the exam room they were very nice & helpful. Would definitely go back.

I would highly recommend this veterinary clinic, especially in the event of an emergency. I won't get too long winded but the skinny is that we have taken two dogs here for emergency's and the staff was amazing.
