Rob was very responsive on the front end with rate information, loan options and estimated costs for doing the refi, and laying out the process for us to submit all the necessary financial and tax docs However once the all the background information and application was submitted it was difficult to get updates from the processor on the timing for the closing. I was interested in the Harp program to refinance my home. I call several lending brokers and decided that the first three to respond to my inquiries would be the finalists. I called the Money Store and talked with James. James was professional and respectful to all the questions that I had. I think the regulators have made things tough for lenders and borrowers, but the staff for The Money Store were a pleasure to deal with throughout the process.
I had financed my home through the Money Store back in 2003 and when it came time to refinance (for a second time) thanks to the fluctuating money market, The Money store offered one of the best rates/closing costs, Did take a while to finance, so if you are not in a hurry give them a try. My rep, Greg was knowledgeable and always kept me informed of the status of my application
I am older and not very computer skilled. The Money Store employee Paul Young "walked me through everything. He was very professional, and had all the "know how" to guild me. We had happy experience when we refinanced our mortgage with money stores. Mr James Raymond was involved in the initial processes of our loan, he was very helpful. When the loan closing date was little bit delayed from their end, Mr James Raymond was quick to respond to our email and phone calls. But for his quick response to our concern, closing of our refinance would have been delayed further.
