I received my 5-day pass because I live out of state and am visiting a friend because I plan to move close by next month, so I thought I would check it out.. I got the 5-day pass no problem, got to the gym was greeted by staff who took my *out of state* id to get signed in, had no problems so I went about my workout. My experience started nicely, with the front staff being kind and attentive. Bailee was also very personable and gave me a tour, but unfortunately my experience went poorly from there. While there were plenty of great machines, the plate loaded machines had their weights scattered all around, forcing me to search through other machines for the weights I wanted. Front desk - No issue, always greeting you politely as you walk in- I've been coming here since 2017 before I became a MOM. but M-KIDS (CHILDCARE) and their Staff needs training. 20 minutes into my cardio workout, they Text me For parent snuggles and interrupted my workout. The gym itself is very good. A few observations, however. 95% of all patrons have AirPods or some kind of headphones on. Why then are they piping in such horrible music? Did anyone ever think of a silent gym that would be a great advantage. Next, I don't find the locker room to be particularly neat or clean and too many of the showers too often have no soap and even a lack of water. I hope they could solve the locker room problem or I'll have to try another mountain side or another gym altogether.

I want to start off this review with the good. The gym itself is clean and has such kind front desk staff. They were always willing to answer any questions I had. I also appreciated the wide variety of machines. Why I am giving this facility 1 star is due to the child care. It's makes me really sad to say that as I have told many friends about how amazing the childcare is here. It was until it wasn't. I called three separate times to cancel my membership, and each time they insisted I come in person. In 2025, we have tools like DocuSign--canceling shouldn't be this difficult. The whole operation feels like a mafia-run business, and I wouldn't recommend this gym at all. They even insisted I pay for a membership that I haven't used in three months. Avoid this place at all costs.

I absolutely love the childcare they provide at Mountainside! The staff is so nice and they treat all the kids like their own. I love that this gym gives families the option to bring their kids with them!

Mountainside is the best! I mostly do Cardio and they have a lot of stair machines, elliptical, and treadmills so there is always space open. Big, bright and clean, love it especially when it starts getting too hot outside!​​
