In a word, UNETHICAL! I've never provided a negative review in my life, and It doesn't make me feel good to do so now. With that being said, nothing about this gym makes me feel good. Yet I feel a responsibility to alert other potential would be members considering joining this gym about the unethical practices of this business and their management team. I am growing to be very frustrated with mountainside fitness. I have been a member with my family on and off for almost 10 years. We renewed our membership because they spoke to us of the guest passes and how we get about 10-15. Once we renewed, I went there with a friend and they didn't let her in because they required her to pay. They said they put guest passes on hold. We renewed for the purpose of guest passes. I love this gym and the location! It's not to crowded. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 5 stars is because it's always hot in the treadmill area, like they have the heat on. It would be nice if they would add some floor fans by the treadmill to use like the Village does. Mountainside instead of turning on the heat please turn on the AC instead. I spoke the management and they are fixing the problem! You guys are the best!!! Hannah was very helpful at the Bell location! Thank you!

Pre COVID, I used to love coming and getting my sweat on. Since the reopening, it has been a complete disappointment. The lack of respect and sense of entitlement of the members is something you have to see to believe. Face coverings only have to do with covering the beard or mouth only. At any given time, there are at least 6-10 (out of 15-20 total) members who can't be bothered to follow some simple rules. My issue is not with a specific location, but rather the corporation. I was a member for under two days when the Governor shut the gyms down due to the COVID crisis. I was told upon signing up that I had 30 days to cancel the membership without being charged. The day after the closure I contacted the corporate office which was closed. With no contact information, I was forced to leave a communication through their online portal requesting that my membership be canceled and asking for a callback for confirmation. Great gym. Miss my workouts. Hopefully will reopen soon. Facility is clean, well spaced, equipment is always being sanitized. Highly recommend Mountainside Fitness as your gym of choice.

The scene of this gym has changed. The sales guy was not very friendly. unprofessional. Needs cleaning and more staff.

This gym used to be one of my favorites but recently the vibe has changed for worse. The sales guy located to the right of the front counter was rude and unpleasant. As a sales person, he had no idea how he is supposed to deal with customers. He was very unprofessional and immature. He looked like he was in his 40's but he acted like a 10 year-old kid. This type of poor professionalism is definitely bad for the business since there are a lot of competitions.

I love this location, I haven't been to others to compare but it has all the equipment I need. I like the side CrossFit style room and class rooms you can use for weight training as well at the typical area. Never too crowded even during peak times!
