Not enough supervision of residents in my opinion. Room size good. Meal portions small. But I know my dad has a better appetite than people his age.

Let me preface my answers first. Our experience with Mustang Creek has been a rollercoaster. When we first got there I would have answered 5 for all the questions. There are new people in charge now and things have changed. Still a nice place. They just hired a new cleaning person. Just hired a new activity director so things are just starting up. The communication about my grandmother's condition and needs has lacked, especially with turnover. However, the care for her has been good.

Never met admin-brother deals with them. Dad likes certain cooks, stove broken at moment food coming from another "home" cold. Especially likes going out to eat-when it doesn't get canceled. They worked with us. Yes, we would recommend this community to others. It's convenient for our families need. My father is also assisted by the VA and Hospice
My family member has been at Mustang Creek since mid last year and I was there several days a week making sure that he was well taken care of & that he got settled in. The caretakers are very nice and helpful but you must understand that they aren't nurses (and they don't necessarily think like a nurse either) so they do their best with the training that they received but they don't completely understand that caring for senior citizens is so different because they don't heal as quickly, not all of their symptoms are "just a ... read more
They have improved since we moved her in but initially we had issues mainly with inattentive staff. I would move some to a 4 after the changes were made. I had to complain about the smell of urine every time we went there initially due to them not toileting the residents. That has vastly improved. I would recommend them at this point. I been working here for almost 7 months i love taking care of my residents there so sweet make me laugh and my coworkers are so nice and i enjoy helping them out the residents always have a smile in there smile in there face and it just makes me feel better im helping them with things they need help with and my day be going by quick with just being with the residents.

The feedback is that they took good care of mom for the most part. When they lost their director, there was some shakiness. But that happens with all transitions of power. They were good people. Lost a lot of great people with turnover. When we brought mom home, there was definitely something weird going on with the clothes. It's like she had multiple people's clothes and not her own hanging in the closets. Other than that, they were great, and they loved mom. That is the most important part.

I have been living at MCE since 2022. The staff is amazing especially [name removed]. The caregivers are very nice and helpful. This is my forever home and my family is close by. I am a big football fan and play bingo every time we have it. We are like a family and eat together except for 4-5 of the thirteen residents.
