Our family had an in person tour and we thought it was a very nice tour experience but the only reason we do not pick this community is the cos, it was just a little to expensive.

I toured this facility, it's a beautiful community. The layout concept is very unique, however, and wasn't the best choice for my loved one. The rooms of living areas are smaller, bigger common area rooms.

I have to say every beautiful work of art was once a blank canvas. I feel this is how Mustang Creek is. Everyday you start with a blank canvas and I tell you the beautiful paintings I’ve seen in the community are remarkable. The changes of housekeeping, Activities, RN and a director who is always there for the families, staff and just loves on the residents unconditionally has shown me that this would be my first choice for my mom. I love seeing change and I will continue to drop in to see [name removed].

Families need to be proactive in dealing with the staff and expressing their desires for their loved ones. Whenever I come to them with requests, they respond very well. Meals are one of the big pluses, especially for my loved one who can be very particular. The food is good home cooking, with plentiful servings and varied options. She likes that she's able to get her hair styled on site with a hairdresser, which is really a nice service. I showed up unannounced, and they welcomed me right in to tour. I met with their Executive Director, and she showed me all the different areas, including the memory care unit, and she explained how everything works there. When wrapping up the tour, she asked me if I saw any areas they need to improve on, which took me by surprise - in a good way. I toured several places, and no one else asked me that question.

I had a good tour with Mustang Creek Estates. They did a good job with explaining everything thoroughly and answering my questions. The room sizes here were too small for my loved one and we also did not like how they did the dining.

Our neighborhoods are a unique concept where our residents enjoy a home setting, in an intimate environment and get to see their food prepared in a big open kitchen. While we are not a perfect fit for everyone, we find our residents prefer our set up over the large hotel or medical feeling communities. We do hope you found a good fit community for your loved one. This is a better location for my loved one but did not have the therapy needs at the level that my loved one needed then.

We do our best to accommodate our residents medical and therapy needs with visiting doctors, nurses and therapists. We do hope you found a good fit community for your loved one. The communication about things that have gone wrong do need some help, but our loved one is at a higher level of care so the activities aren't really geared towards those with higher levels of care. However, the value for cost is excellent and we would absolutely recommend this community to others.

Our tour at Mustang Creek Estates Frisco was very good. We ended up choosing a different facility with a unique program that was a combination of assisted living and memory care, kind of a memory care light, if you will. My mom was experiencing some memory issues but not enough for full-on memory care, which made it more difficult to find a place that was a good fit for her.
