I moved my mother into MC in September and out in November. The care was horrendous and it was dirty and smelled. My mother’s bathroom toilet was covered in ?? and so was her floor. She fell and cut her head open, it took them 4 days to clean the blood from her walls, bed and floor, I called the director daily to get them to clean it. My mom has dementia, I was told by the director and staff they did not have the time to care for her, I needed to hire a sitter to stay with her throughout the day - that’s what I hired them to... read more
The worst experience I have ever had and extremely expensive with almost no care. My friend has only hours left now, after 8 days at Frisco Mustang and is now on hospice. Another friend left their Allen facility after a month. However, I have had only good experiences with A Place for Mom after 13 years of your recommendations

DO NOT put your family member on this place! Is it dirty and disgusting and the staff doesn’t not care. Corporate shows more compassion for the money they make than the residents they so claim to care for. AWFUL!
I have a loved one who is currently a resident. He seems very happy with the facility. The team is caring of the residents. They keep the facility clean and make delicious meals daily! If you need to find a place that feels like home, this is a great place to start.

If your loved one needs memory care. Find somewhere else.
Good for the price but understaffed. My mother falls at least once a week and is usually dirty when I visit because she is difficult to bathe. The staff are kind but have heavy attrition. Would be better with lower staff to resident ratio, even if unskilled just to monitor residents.
Not enough supervision of residents in my opinion. Room size good. Meal portions small. But I know my dad has a better appetite than people his age.

Let me preface my answers first. Our experience with Mustang Creek has been a rollercoaster. When we first got there I would have answered 5 for all the questions. There are new people in charge now and things have changed. Still a nice place. They just hired a new cleaning person. Just hired a new activity director so things are just starting up. The communication about my grandmother's condition and needs has lacked, especially with turnover. However, the care for her has been good.
