RecommendedAs we are fairly new to Tennessee we weren’t sure where to go We are grateful for the excellent and thorough care given by Nashville veterinary specialists! Our cats have seen an oncologist there and Dr. Trzil. Both have chronic conditions requiring close care . We feel they’re being closely monitored and well cared for!! I’ve been involved in animal rescue for eight years and really can understand the importance of such good care and compassion!

We needed a professional opinion for our dog when we found out that she had a mass on her heart. They were able to work her in on a cancellation and although our news was not great it was helpful to find out exactly what was going on and what to expect. Everyone I encountered in the office was so caring and kind, from the first person I spoke with when I called, to the Doctor when she called me with updates. We were concerned when our dog ingested an object. They did the least invasive option first and thankfully in our case that worked. When I went in to pick him up he seemed so comfortable (he tends towards nervous). I very much appreciate the care and honesty and am grateful our pup is doing well! Thank you to the entire staff!

We had an emergency with our mini Aussie yesterday (he ate grapes which are poisonous to dogs and can lead to kidney failure) and when our vet told us to take him over to NVS now we were very nervous and anxious about how it would go. We could not have had a better experience! We spoke to them on the phone on the way there and explained what happened. I want to thank wholeheartedly this animal emergency center. Yesterday, I had to make one of the HARDEST decisions of my adult life, to end my pups suffering and let him go to heaven. I can NOT say enough good things about them. They had a staff member to walk me through the WHOLE THING. I have had to (unfortunately) take both my dogs, Scout and Ilio, to NVS several times in the last year. I also took one of my other dogs for care when he neared the end of his life several years ago. We have always had such positive experiences. The doctors really know what they are doing, and the staff are all so efficient, caring, and knowledgeable. We have not had much luck with our cat's dermatology issues locally, so our vet recommended the dermatology group at Nashville Veterinary Specialists, who came down to Chattanooga periodically to meet with other clients in the area. I have been really pleased with Meredith Stevens and Dr. O'Neill.
