Before signing up for this hardship program, carefully review the contract and ask detailed questions. Important information is outlined in the agreement, including the 25% fee charged on all settlements approved, realistic timelines for settlement, the potential for legal action from creditors, the amount of funding required to resolve accounts, and whether required deposits may change over time. Its also important to understand that this is a debt settlement/consolidation program, not a credit repair service, and any credit... read more

Stay away, their pitch is too good to be true. If your experience is like mine your creditors will sue you within months of signing up.I am a chump. I enrolled a few creditors after already getting scammed by another company. They pitched it perfectly - we'll reach out to the creditors you enroll, set you on a payment plan, and after it's done your debt free.Plan on getting sued with a few months. They don't reach out to all the creditors you enroll. The amount they take from you is just a made up number they can throw back ... read more

Be careful of ***. The intake employee is amazing, very empathetic, very supportive, you feel cared for. It is a long call and it is a lot of information. I strongly recommend before you sign on to any agreement that you read very clearly their proposal and how their fees are paid as you make payments. They are not doing anything you can't do. Here is what happens. 1: You completely stop paying your creditors. 2: You start making deposits into an account with **** 3: Your accounts go into default after a few months and your c... read more

I wish I had done my homework. This company has settledtwo debts for MORE than the original debt, NOT counting their fees, which are usually 25% of the total they claim to save you. They ruin your credit, which is part of forcing creditors to deal with them. I have a friend who is a bankruptcy lawyer, she suggested that your credit is turned around faster, and you become credit worthy faster, doing a chapter 7, than using something like this. WHAT A MISTAKE.

Several things were not done as they were portrayed in the initial sign up. Discover from day one threatened to sue. That was one of the last account settled. I was constantly harrassed by them. Then came the pressure to take a loan with an associate of theirs to settle early but go into debt for a many more years. I finally caved but now have found out they didn't pay off one of the accounts so now I am getting dinged each month on my credit. I was not informed they didn't pay it off until I checked my credit report. AND fr... read more

I just started process and have had three counselors either say they would call me. First one I had to cancel appointment and emailed him to get another time no response. I got a random phone call from **** ***** who said he would call today and another person called and when I tried to talk to her she went silent on the other end. I then emailed her no response. Not a good feeling with your customer service and I havent even signed up. I am in dire need of help but rethinking my options!!

Their sales team will not stop contacting you even if you politely decline. Ive stated multiple times that Im not interested and they push and push. The guy that called today wouldnt give me the name of National Debt Relief until I asked him three separate times. Sales representative basically called me dumb for managing my debt by myself. Dont do it.

Although National debt relief initially sprung into action regarding my debt and contacted my debtors offering me an acceptable amount to pay them each month to satisfy my debt. They have over the years been very slow to react if at all regarding messages I have sent regarding creditors That would not negotiate. It has been very disillusioning. However, today, a young man by the name of ****** seems to have helped break the ice and hopefully we will be moving forward in intelligently. ***** *****.
