This company seems so shady and sketchy from just one call I had with them to see if they could help the representative started off nice at first and then got very aggressive once I told him I wasnt sure if it was a good fit for me, anything I told him he used against me he threatened that I would be sued by all the collections I have if I didnt sign up with them. I am filing this complaint because this companys processing/account errors caused a missed deposit/failed payment, and they are now using that failure to cancel a creditor agreement and leave me worse off than when I started. This program requires frequent, on-time deposits. I provided the maximum I could afford based on their promises of progress toward becoming debt-free. I went through national debt relief to consolidate credit card debt, it took them four months to get the proposal sent to the credit card agencies by the time they received them they're like oh no you're too late now so therefore those are in collections and I am trying to pay them off myself. They were under pain the one business they were always late. I thought the whole concept of this company was to get me out of debt, they take customer fees, settlement fees, transaction fees, and negotiation fees, which they don't disclose when you sign up, this is why it can take 4 years to get you out of debt with them and then they try to get you to finance with a company called *************** to take over and negotiate your creditors, then your stuck in another interest financed debt for another 4 years, and I've only been working with national debt for 7 months. Although I am grateful that some of my accounts have been paid off, my overall experience with *** has been extremely stressful, financially damaging, and far from what their advertising promises. When I enrolled in October 2023 with five accounts, none were past due. I was instructed to stop making payments, which caused a major credit score drop and resulted in four summons. Buyer or debtor beware ! They say they'll get settlements to payoff your debt but watch out. I have been in their program almost 5 years. I have another 8 months to go. Each of my creditors accepted a lesser payoff but Natl Debt Reliefs fees made the payoff higher than the original amount owed. I have paid $2000 more than I initially owed. This is a total scam. They unapologetically make a fortune off your debt !

BEWARE of this scam! Negotiate DIRECTLY with your creditors You will save over HALF of what you pay into the program and finish earlier than they quote! They take a 23% fee from the ORIGINAL loan amount even if they settle for half (and settling with a creditor takes all of 5-10 minutes). They say they told you, but they NEVER told me in explicit terms, only buried it in a document that was never sent to me once signed. National Debt Relief; want refund a dollar amount I'm due because of some projected fees, that are not earned. I deposited $8,899, and they wouldn't send me back a $3,500,back! There are no refunds from this company! Please I don't recommend this company because of there refund policy
