Things to remember about this company, they’re taking 20% of your original debt right off when they settle your debt.In my case and in many other cases they didn’t save me anything. So in reality they cost me a lot more than I owed originally. The people aren’t that nice either.I have spoken to one lady that was nice. They are always calling you or emailing you wanting you to agree to a large sum, usually what you owe to pay .If we had that kind of money we wouldn’t have asked for they’re help originally.I Do Not Recommend them….

National Debt Relief is a total and complete mess. In 2017, I had some credit cards and Medical bills debts and sadly, I turned to National Debt Relief as my savior based on their TV ads. What I got in turned was a complete mess on my CREDIT, from fair to extreme poor. Guess what comes with such a deplorable credit rating, your car insurance will automatically increased tenfold, find hard to find rent a home and if you're careful, you will end up homeless, no one wants to offers you loan anymore, whatever payments you're goi... read more

Ndr claims they saved me over 58% of debt. By the time I paid all their fees they save me a little over $1000 total on five accounts. Now I am getting the 1099C to file for the debt reduction. I am paying well over the amount that they claim they saved me and paid their fees as well. This program was supposed to have taken five years. If I would’ve taken five years, I would’ve probably paid five times the amount of the original debt. I had it paid off in less than a year, and I still paid the majority of the debt.

Horrible scam!! They lied over and over again to me. I have paid off my debt early- which they told me I could and it would be no problem- they continue to keep taking money out of my account even though I’ve paid the debt in full and have over paid- they refuse to refund my money, I call and they hang up and claim it was “my bad phone service” even when I call on a land line. They barely speak any English, which is super frustrating. My debt was way less than what I’ve paid to them for their “fees”. This is the worst compan... read more

This place is the worst. If you want to be scammed go to them you'll be paying back MORE than what you owe the credit card company's.Also if you owe Discover card they must have a vested interest in this company ,they told me they would cut my credit card dept in half and they will negotiate with everyone EXCEPT DISCOVER CARD they said they are tough negotiators (even though BEFORE I went to them Discover Card offered me a better deal )WHAT A JOKE THIS IS A SCAM STAY AWAY !!!!! They hit you with hidden fees and everything els... read more

If you do not care about your credit rating completely trashed (prolonged at least three years in my situation so far, but it may wind up as five ~as the last out of three creditors is negotiated with), then NDR might be is a good deal for you. It takes time to build the money you send each month to 1. pay their fee of 25% (of any total owed debt), and 2. then have enough/the total amount of money accumulated to pay the given negotiated settlement. Forget about interest accrued as you/NDR 'build' your payment savings in thei... read more

I could see I was about to be in trouble with my creditors. I enrolled in this program 4 mths ago and they've only resolved one of many but haven't failed to take their portion in high fees. I was served with papers from one of the creditors and they assured me this would be escalated to the top...a week later..no communication with the creditor nor myself. I had to scrape up money to take care of it myself to stay out of trouble. Don't trust them. Handle things yourself.

Business response:

Dear *******,We regret to hear that you are unsatisfied with your experience so far. At enrollment, as well as in your agreement, the timeline for negotiations is broken down. We are only able to negotiate accounts when there is enough money in your debt settlement account to pay the settlements and when your accounts reach a certain level of delinquency. This usually ranges between 4-6 months but can be greater depending on particular creditors. As for the fee structure, we only collect negotiation fees on settled accounts.... read more

Every-time I contact this business they want more money. They promise just a half payment to graduate when you have been begging to graduate for a year and just give them what they ask for after giving a lumb sum of the estimated pay off amount (which was enough) they want to lock you into not graduating from the program for as long as they possibly can even when you just get so desperate to graduate that you just keep paying what they ask for. They are not honest and should not be trusted. I thought I was in good hands now ... read more
