Do NOT use this company! Find a way to settle yourself with creditors. National Debt Relief spent almost 3 years lying to me. They originally stated they did not charge fee's but when it came close to my payoff date I was told there was a 25% settlement fee for each account for the original amount settled! Then there is call fees, bank fees, lawyer fees, mail fees, etc etc etc. The total of all accounts I had was roughly $15,500. I was sent settlement offers from all creditors and then forwarded them to National Debt Relief,... read more

Having worked with this company for over 3 years now, and required to continue working with them for the next two years, PLEASE choose any other option. You can get a consultation with a tax attorney to help you with your situation. I cannot stress enough how much you should not work with this group. They are not attorneys, they negotiate with creditors with the goal to have 15-25% fee of whatever they agree you must pay. An attorney will negotiate and protect you in civil court. You absolutely dont have to believe me, thoug... read more

I will just bulletize my main complaints and things to beware of...- Be prepared to have National Debt Relief call you constantly Sking for more money - Your savings aren't as good as you think they'll be. NDR fees you to death and in the end, for each settlement I saved $200- $2000 at most because their fees are steep... My highest settlement was $13k out of $19k but NDR fees were over $4k so not much savings there....- When you open a service request, they usually just close them with no communication with you about your c... read more

The program that is advertised makes sense and I decided to move forward with their services. My first error came about 1 year into the program as I had a series of questions. I called several times and was told a different answer regarding the outstanding balance of my account each time. Frustrated I got a supervisor in the phone who was able to provide some better information.Fast forward to the end of the program, I have paid the program in full prior to its end date and National Debt Relief continues to charge my account... read more

SCAM. If u have more than one creditor DO NOT use ndr. It will cost you dearly. They only contact one at a time and when the one is getting close of pay off they contract the next one. PROBLEM-----they tell u to stop paying.........You will get letters from attorneys.......Naow NDR will go on your behalf if you opted to get their lawyers (u pay a mthly fee). Now they won't settle for what they would off a year ago. You pay NDR 20% of your original loan not what they negotiage. Yea you pay for that also. They even charge you ... read more

Terrible experience-Although I appreciate the fact that you were able to settle my debts at a lower amount I am very disappointed in the amount I will be paying. In total I have paid about $10,000 to this company. Because my payments were made on time and I paid extra on my account. I received a call about a personal loan from *************** that I would qualify for, to pay the remainder of my debt. The call was very deceptive. On the phone I repeated several times that I wanted to have all of the details and think it over b... read more
