I have been requesting payoff balance letters for over a month with National Debt. They refuse to confirm that I am able to pay off settlements early. I suppose this is so they can continue to earn their fees. They also lost a settlement and never mentioned that there were funds needed during the COVID shutdown, and after putting this in writing and demanding answers they admitted their mistake but only committed to 'do better for other customers.' This isn't an acceptable answer. I was told upon signup that the money in my ... read more

scam scam scam, I was paying them monthly for a very long time. When I attempted to end their program which they had said they would not take anything until the end. All my payments had gone to them directly. They had not paid the companies I owed money to anything. I lost over 4k in payments made to them and had to come up with the money to pay the other companies I originally owed money to. Very misleading.

They make all of this sound so great when you sign up. And it was somewhat helpful in the beginning. But, I have enough in my account to pay off the last remaining debt which was a little over 2k. I emailed them twice about closing this debt with the money in my account and received no response. I had to call them twice to "resolve" the issue and yet it is still sitting there in my account almost 2 weeks later. I could of had this resolved with ******* *** in one phone call. They would have NO PROBLEM taking a lump sum payme... read more

I am just a week into the program....but just knowing there is someone to help you and not judge your situation, is very comforting. I know I could not pay my debts off by myself, it was a revolving cycle. I will admit I don't have the pressure anymore.. I sleep at night instead of worrying about tomorrow bills.
Till last week I never thought that my debt would ever going to end, I felt like I was drowning and for lack of trust to financial institutions I never seek help, but researching I found National debt relief and view their standing and 5 star reviews I decided to inquire, and within a day Christopher D*** called explain the process, help me understand, guided me through everything and now I feel peace within me.
Turn and run!! Absolutely terrible,,,your credit will be ruined for A LONG TIME. Once you enroll in the program, you are no longer in control of your accounts. The 21% fee is ridiculous. When they made a mistake, they did not want to admit and make it right. HORRIBLE--DO NOT DO IT!!
After 2 years on program, I realized I paid more than owed, even after settlements. Fees out weighed settlements costing me more overall than original balances. Settled 2 outside of plan. Call your creditors. Settle outside plan as much as possible. Make offers, negotiate with them. NDR is a rip off. I paid 450 a month and had to push them to do settlements. Some were only a couple hundred dollars less than balance and it cost me more in fees. Ridiculous thriving off people in tough situations. I paid off and out early.

They walked me thru every step and helped me understand what was going to happen. They also didn't make me feel bad about having to go this route.
National Debt Review has not been at all helpful in trying to deal with the financial struggles created by a layoff connected to Covid 19. They blame all problems on the creditors and take no responsibility and offer no help. I have found them to be a business completely lacking in integrity. I have been helping my nephew with his finances and while he has been unemployed due to the virus, he has fallen behind. I was with him during phone calls to National Debt, and they have been anything but transparent. He has paid in fee... read more
