I contacted National Debt Relief. I had several questions and I never got clear and honest response. Here is a summary of my experience. 1) Agent was very devious. I wanted to know how much were they charging me in fees, and never got a direct response. The answer was always that they are a BBB accredited and never showed me the fee calculations. 2) I wanted to understand the temporal and permanent impact on my credit, and the agent was not transparent in her response. She even minimized the fact that there is an impact on y... read more

Hello *******, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We try to maintain the highest standards of service, and can appreciate your frustration when that does not happen. Please call us directly at ************to address your direct concerns. Thank you.
National Debt gave me an estimated 42 months. They are stretching out my payments to over 60 months even though I will have enough funds at around 42 to cover all my creditors. I would never ever go through them again if I knew they would do this. I also got sued because they took thier good ole time settling on one of my accounts. I'm probably paying more than my ballance with NDR fees and settlements. I'm so embarrassed I let myself fall into this scam. I fell into some financial hardship with health problems so I thought ... read more

If I could give them less than 1 star I would. After things happen they don’t care. And when they settle a debt they tell you you still owe your monthly payments plus owe extra payments. And as for leaving there money back guarantee is a lie you don’t get anything back. Worse company lies I’ve ever heard. Strongly recommend going somewhere else and not to waist your time.

National Debt Relief's main objective seems to be getting rich from collecting fees from your settlement payments. These fees are outrageous. I signed up for their help under hardship, and they make it seem as if you are saving money, but you are not . The fees they collect replace the amount of debt settled. This seems to be a scam. I am going to cancel this program.

They did settle 3 debts fairly quick. Then I got served a court summons, but I settle that one on my own. Just got served ANOTHER summons today. Thinking about just being done with them.....

Horrible! They will not save you money! They charge 20% fees on original balance. And only if they settle for 50% do they save you money, often they don't settle for 50%. In fact my last settlement I had to pay more than my original balance by $1,000 but had no choice because I was being sued. Oh and I've been sued twice. And another lovely thing I just learned is they charge you $12 each time you call to check on your account!!! :(

Went in with $26000 in debt. Settled 4 accounts only in 2 yrs, I have now removed all the ones left owed (active)..and now owe $2000 ($830 for credit card and the rest in their fees) and the will not work with me on reducing the payments where I need them to be. AVOID this company. The settlements they made were barely below what was owed..then add their fees and you are back where you started. The 4 accounts totaled $12,300. They settled them at $9100. Fees to NDR were a $2825..leaving around $400 saved. HORRIBLE. They coul... read more

June 2019 I joined National Debt Relief thinking this will keep me current in regards to negotiating a payment arrangement. NDR lied, took my money ruined my credit score and payment history with creditors! This company is misleading if I was told they start negotiating with creditors after 120 days in arrears I would have never joined. I watched my credit score decrease by 200 points in a month!
