I had 20 K credit card debt. I joined National debt relief in 2017 . I set up 500 dollars month in this account to pay down and negotiate with my creditors. They worked to negotiate 2 creditors. I had been paying for 3 years. I still had some me financial set backs and put the service on hold then came back 5 months later only to find nothing was being done effectively. I was better off doing the leg work myself and negotiating with the creditors directly. So I call to cancel the program, they give you the run around. They sa... read more

My husband and I started with this company in November. We found ourselves in debt with monthly payments we could no longer handle. He has had some medical issues and subsequent bills and now needs a lot of dental work. As of this date, NDR has not negotiated with any of my creditors, especially ******* ***. Our credit score is now in the toilet I cannot even get a loan against my house to get rid all of this. NDR has not made any contact with ******* *** while our credit goes down and down! We have an account with a well kn... read more

I was scammed by NDR company. I doumented and recorded their conversation to protect myself in every conversation. I highly recommend everyone to record and document everything the NDR says. Originally, the NDR agent explained to me that my debts would cut to 50% (sounds too good to be true) and the payoff is 3 years the day I enrolled. That sounded right of $1500 loan to payoff from $30.000. NDR told me the debt negotiations start after 6 months but mine is still negotiating after one year. It is not finalized yet. NDR aske... read more

I ended up paying $15,000 more then the original debt I owed. I probably should have negotiated with my creditors on my own. This won’t save you money

My husband and I have been using NDR now for a few years. Due to numerous unforeseen life events, we found ourselves in debt with no return. NDR was recommended to us by a family member (works at a bank) so we of course went with them. Now we are down to our last 2 accounts to settle with. One of them showed as accepted, and was to be paid off and closed. Instead we have wages being garnished (they take 25% each pay check) and we are unable to make our mortgage payment, pay bills, and has left us with a dropping credit score... read more

They wont send me written documentation telling me exactly what I need to pay to close out my last account! I do not understand HOW they can get A+ BBB rating when all the reviews I see are complaints.

Business response:

Hi ******, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We try to maintain the highest standards of service, and can appreciate your frustration when that does not happen. We will be reaching out shortly, but you can also call us directly at *************

Very poor customer service, they only care about people with very large amounts of debt where they are able to make more money.. I would highly recommend weighing your options before choosing this company.

I signed up with National Debt Relief around February/March 2019. It is now Dec 19, 2019 and only two out of six are being cleared. I also received a court summons and their recommended response was ineffective. I received a letter today ordering me to appear in court from that summons. They seem to be reactive. The only proactive actions I've seen are actively trying to convince me to use them and their automated telephone call from "Sarah" to check my account weekly, even though there is no change. Very disappointed and fr... read more
