This is a complete sham! They took over $3000 from my account as "fees" and not one penny went to my creditors. I cancelled account which had $1400 In it and was told I'd receive in in less than a week and still no money after 8 days. People with debt issues and this company makes it worse by taking your money!

I called National Debt Relief in January 2018 and they set me up with a manageable plan using automatic withdrawals. They helped me pay off several bills after just a few months. Eventually they financed the remainder of the settlements. This amounted to a debt consolidation loan, but I couldn't have gotten one before. This company sell you lies about whats best for you and damages your credit so they can make a profit off of you. While they are upfront with they're intentions and that your credit will be damaged by missed payments they make it sound as if that will be quickly resolved and after a couple of years you will be all good, they have you cut off communications with all your credit companies. change all your contact information to theirs, and tell you to stop paying them. This is the worst possible way that I could have tried to settle my accounts. Every call they pressured me to give more money. I had a family member attempt to help me. I called and ask for a specific number to pay off everything including fees. I gave them that number which was over ten thousand dollars. I had to call twice to explain that I wanted creditors who had already given a settlement amount paid off. It would be greatly beneficial that we has consumers could perform the following changes without our Client Portal: 1) Change Bank Account Information 2) Change, Update, Reschedule Payments without contacting them via phone. 3) Have email considered first and foremost prior to calling them on the phone. If these three issues can be resolved it would be a great service to go through. I also have 1 unresolved creditor and it seems like they have not been contacted at all.

I am very disappointed with this service. The fees are so high, and I feel like I have been completely ripped off by them. Their fees were never really explained in full, and if I could do it again, I would not use this company. I just want this nightmare to be over!!!

After six months I am still receiving phone calls everyday and just received a letter from one of the bigger accounts getting ready to take legal action. I can’t see that any progress is being made except my credit report which will never recover from this terrible mistake we have made

Find another company. I cancelled my account, per their own agreement I was supposed to have my monies returned (minus their almost 50% fee) in 3-5 business days. It has been over two weeks. I called and asked about where my money was and they stated their bank is behind on "processing all the returns". Not my problem. I was told it would be another 24-48 hours to process then 3-5 business days again to get MY money back to me. Very sketchy business practices. Stay away!
