Just Awful, awful, awful customer service. Claims adjuster and his superviser will not respond to calls or emails EVER. I dont mean once or twice, I mean 20+ emails and calls without reponse. Took them 55 days to even come look at the damage to my home. At this moment Im still fighting to get back + or - $600. in loss of use expenses. Receipts that have been repeatedly emailed and I have personally given them hard copies of, yet they can never seem to find them. Worst Insurance company ever.

My daughter used to work as an attorney at the ***** office and didn't like their anti-customers policy. I got a mini-accident and Nationwide have to pay me a $500 deductible for their Insured fault. No way! Their adjusters and lawyers are arrogant and a company is not for a good name, but only money. I sued the driver, who hit me , but they sent an attorney, arrogant like this company. The recording of court can be checked, where the defendant admitted and confirmed my side of the story: the place of accident, the order of c... read more

I have been a lifetime customer of Nationwide Auto Insurance. On 9/27 I had a not-at-fault accident when a driver t-boned me, resulting in my car needing a tow. The towing company that Nationwide dispatched damaged my car in addition to the original vehicular accident, and instead of admitting fault, denied the claim. I contacted Nationwide who said I would need to file ANOTHER claim, so I had two claims within three days time. Except, they did nothing to help me (this was THEIR dispatch company THEY chose). I had pictures o... read more

Nationwide should change their slogan about being on your side. I’m a veteran, and I found out today that my policy canceled yesterday because I didn’t pay my insurance auto bill within 2weeks of due date. I’ve never had my policy cancelled at ****or ***** or *********** within two weeks, I’ve been able to pay a week before the next due date. Then, they had the normal to send something after my cancellation saying they need proof of insurance before them by November 18th. Why would that even matter when you cancel my policy ... read more

I have my homeowners with Nationwide and have for 26 years. I have always been prompt with my payment and never filed a claim in those 26 years. I filed a claim on my homeowners for the first time for wind damage from Hurricane Sally and it was the worst experience I have ever had dealing with an insurance company. These people have no compassion for you, they try and make you feel like it was your fault you had damage. It's stressful enough going through a natural disaster but then to have your insurance company bully you, ... read more

Nationwide is definitely not on your side!! Costumer service is 0, on the scale 0-10, and if I can go in the "-" range, I will. I go to the office located in ******** *N: Nationwide Insurance: ***** ** ********** *** * *** ******* ***** ******** ** *****. Horrible experience. Customer service there is the worst I have ever seen. I have home ins with Nationwide. They have increased my premium every year with at least $100-$120, because of a change in the home value, is what they say every time. This year, I received my renewa... read more

I had my windshield replaced 4 months ago and Nationwide is giving the run around and still hasn’t reimbursed me the $1400 I paid up front. Nationwide is definitely not on your side. Don’t go to Safelite! They’re the same company. So beware of them pushing you that direction. Very cheap glass!

Going on over 60 days and just recieved a letter that they need another 30 days to review my claim. What would happen if I sent them 2 letters saying I needed 30 more days to make my payment. They blame it on covid but its complete bad business. This is overwhelming.

We changed insurance to Nationwide supposed to be escrowed. Apparently they never sent the bill to the mortgage company and said it was set up for us to pay. Never got a bill and now they are saying we are cancelled in a letter on a Saturday. Guess what cannot reach anyone on weekend must be Monday through Friday so here we sit with no coverage.
