DO NOT GET INSURANCE WITH THESE SCAMMERS!!!! Someone hit my son in my car and TOTALED IT!! I am the primary owner and they wouldn't pay anything on my car. I provided the necessary proof that my son didn't reside with me and still NOTHING! Every month they had their payment on time and in full. Nasty and unresponsive adjusters. This company is a complete RIP OFF!!!

What a terrible company! I mean, this is 'Nationwide" which is supposed to be a big company? A company of "this size" should not have so many internal issues. I constantly have issues with billing. I set up "autopay" but if they send the bill out before the autopay takes effect, it doesn't "autopay". Then, when you go to pay online, it cancels the automatic payment. It's a conundrum and I'm amazed a company of this size has such, what seems like small issues but is a great inconvenience to the customer.

Their High & Drunk Driver Hit My Company Truck And They Did The Bare Minimum To Repair It Even After He Hit And Ran Twice With Me And I Had Catch Him To Get His Info They Did The Body Work And Did Not Repair The Mechanical Damage Done To My Truck And Won’t Even Give A Alignment Although Their Driver Hit My Wheel And Ran My Hub Bearing Right Through His passenger door and rear quarter which I’m sure is stud and lug damage as well as wheel bearing damage and motor failure and suspension issue but they decide to blame on wear &... read more

I used my username and password to access my nationwide annuity account. When it opened I found another account linked to it. I immediately called Nationwide and spoke to a gal who didn't seem to understand the problem. She finally saw what I was talking about. She said it had to be handed over to the resolution department and that I would hear from them within 48 hours and if not to call back. I did not hear from them so I called back. Got pet insurance for my pet, asked if all common ailments for my pet were covered. Was told they are, bought the insurance. Pet got sick not long after, took pet to vet for treatment. Insurance was canceled due to "preexisting conditions" my pet had. It had never been to a vet before so that was impossible to know. They also said the common conditions my pet had was not covered at all. Three times in just over six months they have misprocessed claims by making unjustified assumptions about things that were incorrect rather than taking any time to try to find out information (i.e. assuming a one-time prescription from 8 months ago was ongoing, assuming I had other insurance that I did not and randomly disallowing a claim for what they assumed I'd be paid by this other non-existent insurance). We purchased a new Homeowners Policy from Nationwide Insurance with a Policy Period of June 26, 2020 - June 25th, 2021. It was the lowest rate compared to others we received quotes from so were very happy. When it was time for renewal, the rate went up 22%. We called several times, and the agents gave us a generic answer of a "rate increase". RUDE HAUGHTY YELLING AND SEVERE BAD HORRIBLE ATTITUDE DO NOT GO HERE IF THEY TRY AND TAKE YOUR MONEY ON A BRAND NEW POLICY THEY DONT CALL YOU OR MESSAGE YOU OF CHANGES BECAUSE OF COLOR THEY KNOW IT IS NOT THEY POLICY. I have a health and savings retirement account with Nationwide, and after leaving my previous company I attempted to withdraw money from this account to pay for medical expenses. Nationwide required that I feel out a form, provide recipes and direct deposit form so that they can deposit the funds into my bank account. I sent all required documentation to the PO box provided.
