On August 17th 2020 my children and I were tboned by a client of nationwide who ran a red light. The police contacted my witness and the driver received a summons immediately for failure to obey traffic sign. Mr. George ********my assigned adjuster , was extremely rude and demanded a recorded statement which I legally declined.Mr ******** stated he wasn’t doing anything until he received a recorded statement. Nationwide Nightmare This is in regards to veterinary pet insurance provided by Nationwide insurance at **** * ******** *** **** ***** **** ****. This company will do all it can to not pay out on claims. The appraiser downgraded my hail damage when multiple roofers claimed that there was enough damage for it to be replaced. Then after fighting to repair or replace they send me a letter informing my insurance representative that they would be dropping my home insurance due to a "damaged roof." I then contact the state insurance regulator on NC to file a complaint and they stated that it was the right of the company to drop anyone they desire. SO Stay away, FAR FAR AWAY... read more

We purchased Nationwide pet insurance for our English Bulldog, Sebastian, right when we got him around 10 weeks old. We had heard great things about Nationwide and knew that having an English Bulldog, we definitely should get pet insurance for him. We have pet insurance with them and they are the worst insurance company that I have ever dealt with. Twice we have sent itemized receipts to them with detailed lists of what was done (rabies shots, etc.) with dollar amounts and they keep asking us to send an itemized receipt. I can't imagine how any receipt could be more itemized. When you call them, you are put on hold forever. Worst customer service. They try very hard not to pay in accordance with our pet insurance agreement. Awful company. They are a ripoff.

Absolutely the entire nationwide Insurance is a scam. I have full collision coverage and they wasted over 47 days of my time because i don’t have rental insurance on my auto policy. They had me drop off my car to the shop of my choice and stalled the work mid way. Every single person I came in contact with at nationwide was rude, incompetent and a complete waste of time and scam. Thankfully my policy is over in three months. Nationwide is a rip off. They are overpriced. I switched to Geico in March and canceled Nationwide. My rates for the same coverage is so much lower. Nationwide sent me a bill after I cancelled. Then they sent me a refund due to covid 19. Now in July I get a bill from a collection agency for coverage before I cancelled. They should pay me since I always paid my bill. I paid the collection agency just to get rid of Nationwide.

Horrible experience. They don't want to pay anything, deny, deny, deny. Using Covid as an excuse, refuse to refund all expenses after making me spend hours filling out pages and pages of paperwork. Apparently only covering anything if you are sick. Liars and cheats. I will never purchase anything from them again. What is the point of having insurance, they are just as bad as my medical insurance. Companies no longer are required to follow through or be accountable for anything anymore. Sad.
