In my experience the Oakview Lodge Care and Nursing Home in WGC provides excellent care for its residents. The home is in lovely surroundings, its managed well and the residents seem happy and very well looked after. From the cleanliness, the facilities and services offered through to the general atmosphere, the friendly and helpful staff clearly go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcomed and looked after. Definitely deserving of a five star plus review.

From our first visit we were impressed with both the friendliness of the staff - and the layout and design of the building, with its many facilities. There is a wonderful sense of spaciousness and easy accessibility to all areas of the building. Much thought has gone into the interior design, which is bright and cheerful. My husband arrived at the Oakview Lodge care home after several months of being in and out of hospital. From the time of arrival he has gradually improved cognitively, able to have a little conversation, enjoying his newspaper and watching some TV. All due to the constant care of the staff, nurses and carers at the home. His appetite from being non-existent to very poor while in hospital has now improved as well.

My experience with staff and nurses at the care home was excellent they were helpful and informative throughout as was the managerial team ...My father was very very well cared for and looked after ..to all at Oakview Lodge and on behalf of my father Bob ...many thanks

My dad recently arrived at Oakview Lodge and has been made very welcome. The staff have been so friendly. According to my dad the food is excellent. All areas are kept very clean. The rooms are warm and comfortable. Hatties tea/coffee area is great for visitors to sit. Overall the family have been very impressed.

My husband was welcomed to Oak View Lodge at the beginning of September. From my first visit I felt welcome and greeted ny everyone with a smile and a welcome greeting. During his month long stay my husband was treated as a special guest.The meal time menus were varied and freshly prepared and the portions were generous and there were drinks and a variety of snacks available all day. This Care home is extremely good, with excellent staff and routine. It is clean and tidy. My mum has a very good bright room with great window and furnishings. It is warm or cool as appropriate. The Care staff are very attentive to her needs. Food is well prepared . Very impressed. Due to her age and health, some activities are beyond Mum. However there is a community feel.
