After being with Pekin auto Insurance for 12 years I decided to change companies. Pekin raised my rate and I needed to save money, as I live on a fixed income. When other insurance companies are giving policyholders partial refunds due to COVID 19; Pekin is doing the very opposite and raising everyones rates. I was involved in a hit and run with one of their customers. My truck is so messed up and after over 2 weeks of calling over and over NO ONE HAS EVEN CAME OUT TO LOOK AT MY VEHICLE nor have I even SPOKEN with someone except for the receptionist. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and DOI. This is completely wrong and unacceptable.

In my experience, if there was no social media, there will be no short term resolution of my case, and that shows a lack of procedure and good intention from claim department,the only good words that i can say is for the social media team( the FB page) which are helpful and respectful, they by their good behavior are the winners in this story.
$13k roof repair and I recieved $1800 from insurance. They found extra damage from the initial estimate at $8600 and said "let us know if they find further damage", when they did it took almost two weeks of calls and emails to get a reply that nope, you get nothing else. "Beyond the Expected"? Yeah right.

Your policy had an actual cash value loss settlement endorsement on it for windstorm or hail damage to your roof.
