A family friends car was vandalized, despite the fact that she has been a Pelion customer for years, and never had a claim, the great people at Pekin are claiming that the damage is from two separate incidents and forcing her to pay two separate $500 deductibles. I do not recommend a company that is so obviously trying to take advantage of a customer.

I recently cancelled a commercial auto policy due to the extreme rudeness and incompetence of customer service. I was on the phone today 12/5/16 with customer service. Agent asked me for my policy number that I didn't know. Took 10 minutes for her to find a policy I have had for 2 years. When I said this was exactly why I was cancelling she said " why, because you don't know your policy number?" Unbelievably rude and unprofessional. Blame Facebook ads for showing irrelevant posts to people.
Our vehicle was hit by a driver insured by Pekin. We took the car to the body shop to be fixed and was provided a loaner vehicle so that we wouldn't be without a car. Our car is now completed and it's time to take the loaner back however we will be unable to leave with our personal vehicle due the adjustor from Pekin working on the case has not sent out payment to the body shop for the loaner.
