I'm not sure that my lack of enthusiasm with PennyMac's performance during the refi process could have been improved by Hermes "doing a better job". I think he was totally constrained by how backed up the review and approval process was. I was assured that my totally standard refi request should take between 30 and 45 days. It took 3 months and 2 weeks. Almost every week I received an identical letter thanking me for my patience and assuring me that all would be handled the following week.

Sarahi was great to work with. She kept us informed throughout the entire process. The day of closing was a breeze and it was nice to have the notary come to our home.

the only issue of concern was the pennymac's reported policy of not reviewing and evaluating any challenge to the accuracy of the property appraisal.

Not clear communication with any parties (Michael or Xavier) Michael started off the process very well, but communication was minimal and if i did not inquire about the state of the loan , i would of not heard back. Xavier communicated, but did not seem to be reading a script every time we spoke, when asked a simple question, as in "when is my first payment?" he could not answer, and went back to his script. Hope this help with the training and development of your staff

The process was very well streamlined with little to no effort on my part. Docs asked for were provided. However there was a miscommunication with the underwriter but was cleard up in short time.
