More communication. I had to reach out to PennyMac for all updates/status. Online uploads were done - PennyMac would say they didn't receive them.

The initial consultation with Travis for the application was phenomenal.Once passed to Jennifer, I was not particularly thrilled with my experience. I felt like the communication was lacking. I was told I needed sign the disclosures and she would call me to schedule the close the next day and she never called. Then when I called to verify the notary was coming for closing the following day, she left me a voicemail saying my loan was approved and we needed to schedule our close.
Good experience. I would highly recommend Penny Mac.

There were two people that we worked with at PennyMac for this refinance process. The first was a loan officer, Neal Renzi and the second the home loan specialist, Sarah Guevara. The "Great" experience we had pertains to our interactions with Sarah. She was excellent at communicating, got back to us promptly and answered all of our questions well. However, Neal was condescending and we had to insist numerous times for him to run a couple of different scenarios for us to get the best option.
