We have refinanced through PennyMac a few times now but this will probably be the last. There was very poor communication regarding the status of our escrow account that ended up costing us money. Even when we tried to get to the bottom of the story we were given the run around and no straight answers. We are very upset and disappointed by our experience this time around.

Hermès was inaccessible almost every time I called. He requested documentation and signatures on two separate occasions that had already been submitted because he did not look over our account before emailing. He failed to return my call as he promised to provide an update. His emails contained multiple spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors. I had requested that our loan be transferred to a different officer as Hermès did not fulfill our expectations or provide good customer service.
