We had to call for updates all of the time versus a proactive call from PennyMac. The closing documents were not accurate and needed to be corrected. The process took much longer than we were told. Communication was the biggest challenge and not sure if that is because of COVID19. There was also no communication on the day of close that the loan was funded etc. All we got was a response to my email stating that you were closed for the juneteenth holiday.
Everything went fast & smoothly!!
I know i live in a rural area, but it shouldn't take 5 tries to get a notary out here!
