The wait times for a phone conversation could be shorter. I waited over an hour to speak with a loan agent to start my application. At the end of the hour the phone disconnected. Luckily an agent called me back two hours later to discuss my application.

Lack of communication amongst yourself. There were several times through out the process where I was asked the same thing by multiple people. Documents were submitted not once, not twice, but three times in a few cases. The right hand had no idea what the left hand was doing. It was a frustrating experience because of the lack of communication within your organization. Ill give you benefit of doubt due to COVID because my experience was bad. Yall gotta do better.
The process was lengthy. I had to provide documents more than once. It felt redundent.
I had to call and email a couple times to get questions answered, but it only took one call or one email to have my specific question about the process answered. Even if it's automated, it would be nice to have a call about what to expect for closing since Pennymac is an all online process. The title/notary didn't confirm that they were coming 24 hours prior which made me nervous. Also when you go to title office and if money is supposed to transfer they take your bank information.
My only reason for choosing just ok was that I was told 3 days before closing that documents proving my employment were needed before continuing process.I am self employed and had to inconvenience some customers in order to fulfill request. I could have gotten requested documents much earlier and with less trouble had I been asked to.
Everything went smooth, able to get answers promptly during COVID issues. Already had PennyMac as a lender and this was very easy.
This was BY FAR the the cleanest, quickest, least frustrating refinance / escrow I have ever experienced. I'm pinching myself that it already closed. Richard and My Mac Team were flawless.
