NEVER I repeat NEVER use Penny Mac! I have been waiting over 90 days for the mto clear the buyers of my house. The have the money, the credit score and everything else but this company is using COVID, staffing and other resons to justify making me wait to move to ANOTHER STATE and take a NEW JOB. I am going to lose a job I have been working for fore years because are dragging their feet. Phone menu convoluted and designed to keep customer from reaching a representative. This is by design of Pennymac management to save labor cost to Pennymac and gives poor customer service when trying to reach a representative. Also, menu ask to enter last 4 digits of social security number which I did correctly 4 times and it told me the 4 digits were incorrect when I know they were correct.

I’d give less if I could. DO NOT consider this lender! My family took advantage of their special forbearance program following Hurricane Ian as we were directly impacted in SWFL. At the end of our forbearance period, we agreed to the terms of a repayment program to bring the loan back current. What my assigned representative failed to mention at any point in any of our conversations was that by opting in to the repayment program, I would be reported to the credit bureaus as delinquent and my credit score went from excellent ... read more
