I originally tried to refinance with Wells Fargo my original lender that I have had for 8 years and they were awful. I have my primary residence with PENNYMAC so I reached out to refinance my rental. Everyone I dealt with was amazing! So happy

The process took about 7 - 10 days longer than expected. Also, the preliminary value of my home was exploited which raised my expectations on the extra cash I would receive. After a true appraisal of almost $20k less, the amount I received was about $10k less than first expected. Overall though, the debts I wanted paid off were paid off and now I am debt free except for the mortgage. I am happy.
