Process went along quickly and accurately.
There were long periods of waiting and it was difficult to tell from the website exactly where in the process things were, I had to call to get additional information. The same form was requested multiple times because a pre-filled version wasn't provided until the third request. It was confusingly communicated when the "at-closing" money would be provided, it seemed to be implied that it would be available once closing documents were signed, but I had to call to discover that no, it would not be provided until the loan fund... read more

Pennymac made my 1st home buying experience wonderful. Very professional, no pushing nor selling unrealistic options. Everything they promised they held true. Even when I got outside lower offers, they matched them although a float-down option was not in my original loan estimate. I am truly thankful!

Very nice and explain things thoroughly
It was a very straightforward process with Brianna Koke and with Pennymac's loan officers who were very helpful. However, that said, I was a bit displeased with the amount of time it took to get to closing due to questions from the underwriters regarding whether this was my second home -- which it is not. However, because I as not ever able to deal directly with the underwriters and answer their questions, the resolution dragged on for several weeks -- all of which was unnecessary (since there is no question that I more th... read more
