When you are told that you will be communicated with every Friday and you do not have that communication until the next week when I send an email requesting the information. Funds disbursement 2 days later than email stated and still no disbursement or communication. Understand COVID, but under promise and overachieve is much better than over promise and under achieve.
We had to go through the refinance twice it ended up taking 3 months. We were quoted a rate and for some reason the refinance was accidentally closed. The closing cost were then doubled after it was resubmitted. The loan agent said he would fix this but later informed us after a month that his manager wouldn’t allow the fix. When I asked to cancel the refinance it was fixed within a day. I’m happy with the result but the time, constant calling, and pushback required was frustrating.
The most clearly communicated financing or refinancing that I have ever experienced and I have been through about 15 of these things. You guys have set the standard on how a financing is executed and communicated. Thanks to Jesse and the whole team!

By the time the loan was in, Interest rates had significantly dropped !!!!!!!!!!!!! That means because I am a loyal customer of PennyMac (my mortgage was with PennyMac and I refinanced with you because I am loyal) I got jammed on a better interest rate because of the length of time it took to process this loan. I tried to bring it up to request the loan be adjusted to the lower interest rate because I have MORE THAN EXCELLENT CREDIT and nobody cared wanted to help. Loyalty means nothing here :(
