Both Jason and Rachel were great from start to finish and made it a very enjoyable experience
This is our 4th mortgage w/PennyMac. Our 1st application (Jul 14) got lost. 2nd App on Jul 31 took until Oct 22 to close. Absolutely unacceptable. Escrow Dept messed up Property Tax (I'm 100% VA Disabled and submitted documentation 4 times showing I don't pay Property taxes). Closing docs continued in error, requiring 12-months property tax in escrow. Blen was fantastic in her efforts to correct and expedite the application. Engaged Craig Wood to finally move to closing.
Efficient and kept me notified weekly by phone and email. Would and have recommended to family and friends.
Today is 27 October 2020. I closed on 21 October and my loan was funded on 26 October, but I still have not received my cash out. This is totally unsat.
I was frustrated throughout this process. The re-fi process started on July 2nd and closed on October 20. That took far more time than anticipated. We ran into simple issues with document uploads that Ashley couldn't troubleshoot at all. I'm pretty sure I know how to upload a document, but she made me feel like an idiot when we ran into technical issues and offered zero assistance, so it was on me to figure out. Which I did.
Charisse was very responsive and helpful.
My overall experience with PennyMac was good. The closing date was longer than originally expected by 10 days, but otherwise everything went smoothly. Everyone who I interacted with throughout the process was helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend PennyMac.
Rachel Harris made it great! She had such a pleasant and helpful attitude. I really appreciated having her to guide me through the process.
Went with pennymac, my previous loan officer neglected to communicate back to me on my inqiry regarding a new refi, her loss, pennymac's win. Was very pleased with how quickly my refi processed out, 3.25%, my lowest yet!!
